EN Gear ratio Crossfire xs

Hello, Is It possible to know what Gear ratio has the chain? Seems THAT online i find only the bx 125 version 14/47. I got the Crossfire xs and i want to low the rpm for cruising in city and change It with something like 15/40. Thanks for the replay

Hello, I have just changed the gearbox output sprocket of my XS (1000km) with a 15 (original 14) and I am happy with the results, slower shifting, softer engine motor-braking, smoother engine.

If you change the front sprocket from 14 to 15, will the chain still fit, or do you have to buy one with more chain links?
So a longer one.
If you change a sprocket on our big 125cc, we need 2 more chain links.

You have to adapt the chain adjustment further forward, that does it by keeping the same chain

If you use the original Chain it´s get longer a longer with every Km, so you can use the 16 frontspocket in future too

Yes, but it's just a joke as you noticed. The chain would break short over long.
Because if that worked, then on our big Brixton you would only need to change the 46 sprocket to the 49 sprocket if the chain was too long.
